11:00 Women’s Game versus Wheaton College
The Women continue to recruit well and should have a competitive
squad this fall under the guidance of Maureen ‘Moe’
MacEachern. After a tough season in DII, the women have returned
to DIII and are excited to return to dominance. Wheaton went 4-1
last Fall and lost in the 2nd round of Playoffs to eventual Champion
Bryant. Let’s kickoff the day right and cheer our women to
victory!
NOTE: A Team Photo and group photo with returning Alumni will
be taken at the conclusion of the game.
12:00 Lunch is served. BURC Alumni will be your cooks. Catch up
with friends and check out the Club History display. RAAC and the
Clubs will have items for sale to commemorate the 30th Anniversary.
1:00 30th Anniversary Comments – Brief statements from College,
Alumni and Club Leadership.
1:30 Men’s Game versus Salve Regina
This should be a terrific contest with two strong teams. Last Fall,
Salve Regina went 4-1. They won the Central Division and tied for
2nd in the Conference. They powered through Western CT, Plymouth
State and Southern CT en route to the Division III Championship.
At 3-2 for the Fall, Babson tied for 3rd in the Eastern Conference
and qualified for the Plate level Playoffs. They gave Bryant a tough
match but conceded in the 1st round. Bryant cruised through two
other matches to easily win the Division III Plate Championship.
Babson’s young squad is expected to improve in 2009 and should
make this matchup exciting!
NOTE: A Team Photo and group photo with returning Alumni will be
taken at the conclusion of the game.
